Ken Tremblay
I am Ken Tremblay, a passionate hunter and all that is related to it. After years of living in the greater Montreal area, I decided with my wife to return to my roots and live on my native North Shore (for the past 4 years) to be closer to nature and have the opportunity to practice my passion for hunting a little more.
In my first year, I acquired a pointing dog which allowed me to discover a new passion for training and hunting with pointing dogs. As the hunting season is about 4 months long, I decided to extend my season by taking part in 2 styles of hunting dog tests, the NAVHDA (North American Hunting Dog Association) where the dog and handler are evaluated on a specific standard and the NSTRA (National Shoot to Retreive Association) this test is a bit more competitive. 2 dogs and 2 handlers on the starting grid and we are evaluated on the birds found, shot and brought back within a certain time frame.
A race against the clock, which pushes us to have to adapt quite quickly on the field and to do this we must be well equipped. It’s a pleasure for me to join the Traktiq team and to be able to use the products in competition as well as in upland and big game hunting.
We look forward to sharing with you some hunting and dog training Traktiq.
